Get taught by the students who just aced it.

Ace Academy is two tutors from GSMST, Georgia's top-ranked public high school. We scored 1580 and 1530 on the SAT, and we sat the same AP exams you're studying for. Not twenty years ago. Last year.

First session is free. No card, no commitment.

Why two students, not a tutoring company.

The big test-prep chains are expensive, and they hand you a tutor who finished high school before the current SAT existed. We're the opposite of that.

01

We remember the actual traps

The SAT went digital in 2024 and the AP rubrics shift every year. We took these exact tests recently, so we teach what's on them now. Not what was on them a decade ago.

02

We explain it the way it clicked for us

Neither of us was born understanding related rates or how to write a DBQ. We learned it the hard way and remember the exact moment it made sense. That's the explanation you get.

03

You get one of us, every time

No rotating staff, no call center, no app that reassigns you to a stranger. You book with Aarav or Sungjae, and that's who shows up. We answer your emails ourselves.

The Tutors

Two people. That's the whole team.

One of us covers math, science, and the math half of the SAT. The other covers history, writing, and the reading half. Between us, that's most of what a high schooler needs.

Aarav Gaudana

Math, Science & SAT Math

I'm a GSMST student with a 1580 SAT (790 math, 790 reading and writing) and a 4.44 GPA. I scored a 99 in AP Calculus BC and took AP Computer Science A and AP Biology, so I tutor the way I wish I'd been taught: working real problems until the patterns stop being scary.

History, Writing & SAT Reading

I'm a GSMST student with a 1530 SAT, and reading and writing is where I'm strongest. I help students turn a blank page into a real essay, whether that's a history DBQ, a timed SAT passage, or just an English paper that's due in two days.

How It Works

Three steps. No phone calls.

1

Pick your tutor

Choose Aarav for STEM or Sungjae for humanities. Not sure where your subject lands? Pick "no preference" and we'll sort it out for you.

2

Choose a time

Grab any open slot on the calendar. Weekday evenings and weekend afternoons. You'll get a confirmation email right away.

3

Meet on Zoom

We send the link. Show up with your homework, a practice test, or just the thing you can't figure out. We take it from there.

Why we started this

We kept getting asked the same thing by younger students and their parents: can you just show me how you did it?

So we started Ace Academy. We're close enough to remember exactly what you're going through, the late nights and the units that refuse to make sense, and we did well enough on these tests to be worth your time. We're not a company. We're two people who are good at this and answer our own messages.

Here's our promise. Your first session is free, with no card required. After that, if you ever finish a session feeling like it wasn't worth it, that one's on us. We'd rather lose the money than your trust.

FAQ

The stuff parents actually ask.

Are sessions online or in person?

Online over Zoom by default. We send a link before each session. If you're in the Suwanee area and would rather meet in person, just ask and we'll work it out.

How long is each session?

One hour. The free trial is 45 minutes, which is enough time to meet, talk through what you need, and get some real work done.

What if my student doesn't click with the tutor?

Tell us after the trial. We'll switch you to the other tutor or part ways with no hard feelings and no charge. The trial exists exactly so you can find this out for free.

How do I pay?

By card through Stripe. Pick a single session or a pack on the pricing page and you'll go straight to a secure Stripe checkout. There's no subscription, nothing renews, and we never see your card number.

What grades and subjects do you cover?

Kindergarten through 12th grade, plus AP and SAT prep. Aarav handles math, science, and computer science; Sungjae handles history, English, and writing. The full list is on each tutor's profile above.

How far ahead can I book, and can I cancel?

Up to 60 days out, and we ask for at least a day's notice so we can prepare. Need to move a session? Email us and we'll reschedule it.

Can a parent sit in on a session?

Of course. It's your session. Some parents like to watch the first one and then step back once they see how it goes.

The first session is free. Start there.

Forty-five minutes, no card, no pressure. Meet your tutor, tell us what's hard, and see if this is for you. If it's not, you've lost nothing.
